Anniversary Lunch At Banana Leaf

It was a Sunday and at the same time, it was my parents’ 28th anniversary. My father wasn’t here in the country but like what we used to do every year, we gave Mom a bouquet of flowers and a cake. My brother gave money for Mom’s spa treatments while my sister prepared a gift. With a quite limited budget, I volunteered to pay for the lunch. My family got no choice when I said we’d be eating at Banana Leaf Asian Cafe. It’s one of the Philippines best restaurants for 2011 and it’s our first time here. Even if my sisters were not okay with it, they had no choice.

A Taste Of Pepper-Flavored Meals At Pepper Lunch

Coming from a meeting within the Rockwell Center, my colleague and I decided to eat lunch at the Powerplant Mall since it was lunchtime already. We walked along the path of restaurants in the Concours level trying to look for a good place to dine in and saw Pepper Lunch, a “fast-steak” restaurant as described by Wikipedia. We first checked their menu displayed outside the restaurant before we entered the place. We had to make sure that there is something in their menu that would fit in my diet.

The Return At Tender Bob’s

It was Sunday, a day before my younger sister’s birthday. Since my other sister would be going to work the next day, the birthday celebrant agreed to celebrate her special day that day. She treated us to lunch at Tender Bob’s in SM The Block. We enjoyed our previous experience in the said restaurant so we were quite excited about the idea of going back there.

Ending The Day At Guilbert’s Place

It was a very busy day for my family, for me most especially. I was invited to be the guest speaker in my alma mater’s kindergarten graduation. The program lasted for 3-4 hours. And then I was still at the school when I knew that I’d need to be at Makati because my sister and her roommates got a problem with their landlady. The problem reached to the point of having a possibility of bringing the case to the barrio hall. So we went to Makati right away and waited for hours – to know how’s the case going to be handled and end, of course. It was already dark when we decided to get home and dropped by at Guilbert’s Place for dinner.

TLC Dining Experience At Tender Bob’s

We rarely go to QC or Manila just to celebrate the birthday of any member of the family. These past few years, we only went to QC during our birthdays because of the Quiapo Church. My family sees to it that we go to Quiapo Church once in a while. During my brother’s birthday this year, we didn’t go to Quiapo but we still went to the mall for his birthday lunch. For the first time, we went to SM The Block for lunch, in Tender Bob’s specifically.

Graduation Dinner at Pancake House

Last year, my sister graduated from college in UP Extension Program in Pampanga. The event took place at Fontana Leisure Parks and Casino at Clark, Pampanga. The ceremonies ended a little bit late; maybe around 8pm. Good thing Marquee Mall is just a few minutes drive away from the place. The mall usually closes at 9pm so we’re still able to get there on time for dinner. It’s not our first time to eat at Pancake House, by the way.
