Something Spicy From Kenny Rogers

If there is another restaurant where I could eat as much as 1/2 chicken aside from Max’s, it’s Kenny Rogers. I’ve been a fan since 2005. That is when the restaurant has still a branch in the old SM North Edsa Annex. I love their Classic Roast Chicken. I order the same food every time I visit a branch. Too bad there’s no Kenny Rogers near my place. The closest probably is at SM City Pampanga or the one at Shell NLEX Balagtas.

Post-Shopping Merienda At Max’s

It was one of those afternoons that Mom and I would go to the mall to shop for groceries, but this time, we were with my brother. Mom was hungry even before we arrived to the supermarket but she agreed to have the merienda after we’ve bought everything we needed from SM Baliuag. Though she was eyeing to eat at the food court, my brother and I were able to convince her to eat merienda at Max’s instead.  Every time my brother is coming home to the country, he always tries to eat at most twice at the restaurants just to have a taste of their foods again. This was his first visit to the restaurant since he left for Japan last year.

Weekend Dinner At Shakey’s

So we spent our weekend through malling at Marquee Mall. We initially wanted to go to Trinoma but we were expecting inconvenience due to holiday implications. After we had lunch at Red Kimono, we were supposed to watch a movie but all seats were taken already. We just decided to stay for a few more minutes before going home. No one was in the mood for spa but everyone agreed to have dinner at Shakey’s Pulilan.

From Cioccolo to T.G.I. Friday’s on Graduation Day

It was past 7 in the evening when we saw my sister and parents walking towards the car from the side of the hotel. It was quite earlier than what we expected. I thought the graduation ceremonies would end before 9. My other sister and I just stayed first in the restaurant then in the car while waiting for them. Inside the Grand Palazzo Royale‘s compound is the Ciccolo Restaurant/Cafe where we stayed for 2 hours. While leeching wifi and working at the same time (I brought my work with me, of course), we ordered for something light since we didn’t want to spoil our dinner celebration. My sister and I shared in their Pistachio Sansrival then had separate drinks. I think I got a raspberry iced tea while my sister had shake.

Turning 22 At Conti’s

I actually forgot to blog about this event. I was just reminded when found some pictures of my 22nd birthday in my computer. It was just a simple celebration – attended mass at Quiapo Church then went out for lunch with my Mom and youngest sister at Trinoma Mall. We initially knew Conti’s Pastry Shop and Restaurant through their cakes until we tried their dining in their restaurant a few years ago. We liked their foods and since then, their restaurant became a popular choice among us every time we’re in Trinoma.
