Fresh Salad From S & R

I was really happy when I found out that there is a near S & R warehouse in Bulacan. The one I’m talking about is strategically located near San Fernando NLEX exit in Pampanga and is only a 30 minute-drive from home. I’ve heard a lot of good reviews on their food service especially on their pizza. Sometimes, I think people are going to the warehouse not to shop, but to eat. The foods are quite affordable and tasty. I’m talking about the pizza though. I haven’t tried the others.

Youngest’s First Birthday Treat

It was my sister’s 21st birthday and for the first time, she decided to treat us to lunch. Instead of having a separate celebration with some of her closest friends, she just invited them to come with us in Marquee Mall that day. In fairness to my sister, she was game in almost every food we are suggesting her to order at T.G.I. Friday’s.

Celebrating Mother’s Day At Peri Peri Charcoal Chicken

It was Mother’s Day and we gave Mom a bouquet of flowers that morning as soon as she woke up. After attending mass, we had no definite plan on where to eat lunch. We just had a consensus not to have it in Marquee Mall for a change. Whenever we are going south, we only have two choices – SM North Edsa and Trinoma. We were expecting that the latter’s parking lots would be all occupied the time we reached Quezon City so we went to SM North Edsa Annex instead. We always find free parking space whenever we are going there. We only came to a decision where to have lunch when we were already at the mall. Everyone agreed to try Peri Peri Charcoal Chicken. I guess the name is based on its most popular dish, Peri Peri Chicken, which is a Portuguese style grilled chicken. Check the restaurant menu here. They have a variety of food and some of them are quite affordable.

Alone Time At Tempure Japanese Grill

I remember walking back and forth along the restaurants area of Trinoma when I went one there one early afternoon in May. I was very hungry and it was past lunchtime already. I couldn’t decide where to eat until I saw Tempura Japanese Grill at the 2nd level of the mall. I felt relieved seeing there were no other customers in the restaurant. And I was right – the service was fast.

Trying Out Kani Salad At Teriyaki Boy

Since I started dieting, I tried to eat a lot of low-carb vegetables as much as possible. But whenever I eat out in Japanese restaurants, I barely eat salad because they’re not the typical green salads I used to eat. They have this Kani Salad, which I’m reluctant to try at first. It is a salad usually consists of kani (crab) sticks, lettuce, cucumber, carrots and mayonnaise. After reading in an online post that it is good, I decided to give it a go.

Going Light And Healthy At Sizzling Pepper Steak

I could no longer remember why I was in Quezon City at that time but I’m pretty sure I went to the university before going to the Trinoma Mall for a very late lunch. I’ve been planning to visit Sizzling Pepper Steak but it was until last March only that I got to do so. I could easily get distracted by other restaurants that I know serve good food. Finally, I had the chance to try Sizzling.

An Unexpected Brunch At ROC Cafe

My colleague and I were supposed to have breakfast at The Chocolate Kiss Cafe around 9am but things happened differently. The meeting ended at 10am and the cafe (one located in 2nd floor) where we planned to eat was closed when we arrived there. I was really looking forward to eating at the cafe again so I was a bit frustrated. The closest place where we could eat is at ROC Cafe, located at the ground level of the same building so we went there right away. By the way, it was my colleague’s treat so I really shouldn’t be complaining. :D

Anniversary Lunch At Banana Leaf

It was a Sunday and at the same time, it was my parents’ 28th anniversary. My father wasn’t here in the country but like what we used to do every year, we gave Mom a bouquet of flowers and a cake. My brother gave money for Mom’s spa treatments while my sister prepared a gift. With a quite limited budget, I volunteered to pay for the lunch. My family got no choice when I said we’d be eating at Banana Leaf Asian Cafe. It’s one of the Philippines best restaurants for 2011 and it’s our first time here. Even if my sisters were not okay with it, they had no choice.

Quick Lunch At Kenny Rogers Before Brother’s Flight

It was my brother’s time to go back to Japan. Together with Mom, we drove him to NAIA terminal 3 and arrived a bit early. It was lunchtime then so we decided to grab something to eat before leaving my brother at the airport. Good thing there are quite a number of restaurants and fast food chains in the airport. Realizing he hadn’t eaten in Kenny Rogers since he arrived in the country, my brother agreed to have our lunch there.
