Trying La Mesa Grill

We fetched my Dad at the airport and as usual, we went to SM Mall of Asia to eat and do window-shopping. Since my father loves eating Filipino foods especially those, which are grilled, we ended up having lunch at La Mesa Grill. If I still remember right, the restaurant is located at the South Parking building near the Seaside Boulevard, where most of the restaurants can be found. From the name itself, I believe La Mesa Grill is a local restaurant serving grilled foods and other local dishes.

First Time At Shakey’s

Shakey’s Pizza is a popular pizza restaurant since I was younger. It is actually one of the tough competitors of Pizza Hut among the middle class people when it comes to pizza, in my opinion. I could remember an instance when my father brought us a box of pizza from Shakey’s when I was an elementary school student. We tried to eat the pizza but we didn’t like it and just left it unfinished. We weren’t tried Shakey’s since then and instead became attracted to Pizza Hut.

Happy Tummies At T.G.I. Friday’s

Last year, we were able to fetch my brother again from the airport. I was hoping that the family could be complete that time but like in 2008, my younger sister wasn’t able to come with us because of some school stuff. Since my brother has been talking about T.G.I. Friday’s since his college days, I had convinced him to treat us lunch there the next time he’ll go home again. I was actually looking forward to that lunch treat especially that I could order for something expensive. That’s how lucky we were.

Family Went to Becky’s Kitchen

Last February, my family and I took my brother to the airport for his flight to Japan. Since I ordered some pastries to Becky’s Kitchen a few days ago before the flight schedule, we went to the pastry shop before heading home. This was the second time I’d bought some goodies there after craving for walnut fudge for years. If I remember right, my first visit there was when I had to go to the National Library in Kalaw.
