Birthday Lunch At Josephine Restaurant

It was my birthday and we spent the long weekend at Tagaytay. As planned, we should be able to eat at Josephine Restaurant before heading home. We anticipated a lot of people eating at the restaurant but we didn’t know the place is huge. At first glance, the main eating area looks like a hotel lobby for me. Hehe. The servers and waiters are dressed like the ones in the hotel. I was impressed. The restaurant was jam-packed when we arrived so we had to wait until a table becomes ready to accommodate us. The 5-1o minute wait was worth it. Luckily, we were seated close to the glass walls where we could clearly see the breathtaking view of Taal Lake.

Introducing Family To Red Kimono

I only got to eat at Red Kimono twice – during a pre-christmas lunch treat from our project manager and my own birthday treat to some colleagues last year. I’ve tried a few selections of their menu and all of them were quite good. Last weekend, my Mom’s request was to have lunch at Pancake House but it was only until then that we discovered that it had already closed down together with its sister restaurant, Sizzlin’ Pepper Steak. We tried to walk back along the restaurants area and agreed to just try Red Kimono.

Addicted At Seafood Island’s Boodle Feast

Exactly one week after my Dad was introduced to Seafood Island, we paid the restaurant another visit for our traditional Sunday family lunch. I was expecting disapproval from my family regarding the idea of eating there again but it turned out my parents had the same idea on their minds. My youngest sister, who initially opposed to the plan, was not feeling well at that time. Since she was not interested to eat anything heavy for lunch, she had no choice but to come and eat with us.

Fish For Lunch At Aristocrat

It was Sunday and we went to SM Pampanga after attending mass. Even though my Mom wasn’t feeling well, she granted my younger sister’s request to go to the mall. The latter would shop for what some clothes and things she’d use at Boracay this weekend. So my younger sister was still busy shopping when my Mom and I opted to try The Aristocrat Restaurant. We’re supposed to eat there a few months ago but we walked out of the restaurant because we’re seated for more than 10 minutes already and no one was approaching us. From the outside, I saw several servers assisting the customers so I’d though their service improved. That’s what convinced me to give them a second chance aside from the fact I would like to try their foods.

Satisfying Cravings At Conti’s

It was Monday but most people didn’t have to go to their school or office because it’s National Heroes’ Day. My younger sister chose to give up the double pay opportunity and instead enjoy the holiday with us. Unfortunately, my youngest sister had to miss the long weekend (Tuesday is a holiday, too!) because holidays don’t exist in their company’s vocabulary. Tsk. She would receive double pay, though, so it wasn’t too bad at all.

Celebrating Dad’s 55th Birthday At SumoSam

It was my father’s birthday and like what we used to do every year, we celebrated it with the whole family even if my Dad wasn’t here during his special day. Since I’m still in search for new restaurants to try on, I brought my family to SumoSam at Marquee Mall. I’ve been hearing a lot of good feedback about the restaurant and just found out later that it’s co-owned by Marvin Agustin, a local celebrity. We’re not into Japanese foods but we would like to try some of them especially those fused with American flavors.

Discounted Lunch At Italianni’s Restaurant

It was Sunday and together with my family, we went to Marquee Mall. Part of the plan was to watch Harry Potter 7.2 and buy clothes for my youngest sister. It’s her first of work today. We were also with my sister’s boyfriend because it was their monthsary so we allowed him to go with us. I don’t know why but every time we are going to Marquee Mall, I always look forward to our lunch. Planning for our next lunch experience always excites me.

Missing Max’s Chicken

It’s been a while since we last had chicken in Max’s Restaurant. The restaurant is popular for their special recipe of chicken. I’m actually one of their chicken’s big fans. Their chicken is totally different with the ones sold in fastfood chains. There is no need for gravy or ketchup if you’re going to eat Max’s Fried Chicken. And just last month, they bring back their Chicken-All-You-Can Promo that will last until the 10th this month. I’ve wanted to try the promo but I’m afraid I couldn’t eat enough worth of the price I’m going to pay. By the way, it costs Php199 and is only available (upon reservation in some branches) from 6-10pm. I still have 6 days left before the promo ends and I don’t know yet if I’m going to go for it.

Father’s Day At Italianni’s Restaurant

A week before Father’s Day, I’ve already planned that I’ll bring my family to Italianni’s Restaurant. I was dying to eat in the restaurant since I was in college and it was only last weekend that I got to try it. I made some research before going there so I wouldn’t be clueless on which foods should we order. I also needed to be careful in ordering because of limited budget, that’s why I had a pre-planned meal already when we got there.
