Birthday Lunch At Josephine Restaurant

It was my birthday and we spent the long weekend at Tagaytay. As planned, we should be able to eat at Josephine Restaurant before heading home. We anticipated a lot of people eating at the restaurant but we didn’t know the place is huge. At first glance, the main eating area looks like a hotel lobby for me. Hehe. The servers and waiters are dressed like the ones in the hotel. I was impressed. The restaurant was jam-packed when we arrived so we had to wait until a table becomes ready to accommodate us. The 5-1o minute wait was worth it. Luckily, we were seated close to the glass walls where we could clearly see the breathtaking view of Taal Lake.

All By Myself At Recipes

I had breakfast a bit late that day, just before I went to the University to get something for my brother and myself. It’s exactly 3 in the afternoon when I reached Trinoma for a 4pm meeting so I decided to have lunch first. I’ve wanted to eat at Recipes with my family after my colleague treated me to lunch there last year. But since I still couldn’t bring my family there and I already missed their food badly, I decided to eat there alone.

Brother’s Rare Chance Of Eating At Isdaan

My brother only comes home to the Philippines during the holidays. Filipinos have different way of celebrating Christmas and New Year with their family, friends and loved ones, which my brother was after of. Since we rarely get a chance to be with him, we planned of going to Tarlac for a day whenever everyone is free. I thought this trip wouldn’t push through but luckily, it happened.

Dinner Stopover At Isdaan

Since I’ll be posting a related post soon, I decided to finally publish this entry. Sorry, I know this is a long overdue story. Anyway, it was a holiday then and I was able to convince my family to go to Pangasinan and Tarlac for a one-day trip. I was expecting to arrive Isdaan at an earlier time, probably around mid-afternoon but we got stuck at Urdaneta on our way to Tarlac from Manaoag and San Fabian. It was early in the evening when we reached the restaurant. I’ve been in the place early last year but my friends and I went there for sightseeing only. I was not only after in tasting their food, I also wanted to bring my family there.

More Choices At Mang Inasal

It was only until Sunday that we were able to try out the new menu of Mang Inasal. With the tag line ‘The more, the many-er’, the fast food chain launched a bunch of new food choices just last November 11, 2011. Mom and I actually agreed not to go anywhere else but home after the mass but my younger sister asked us to accompany her in the supermarket. After buying a few things, my sisters had no choice but to give it to Mom’s request to eat lunch at Mang Inasal. My parents actually love the fast food chain.

Sister’s Birthday Dinner At Guilbert’s Place

My sister’s birthday fell into a weekday so our youngest was at work when we had dinner that night. Together with my Mom, my sister and her boyfriend, we went to Guilbert’s Place for a simple dinner celebration. We’re already on our way to the restaurant when I realized I forget to bring my driver’s license. Luckily, we survived the night without getting caught by a traffic enforcer.

Addicted At Seafood Island’s Boodle Feast

Exactly one week after my Dad was introduced to Seafood Island, we paid the restaurant another visit for our traditional Sunday family lunch. I was expecting disapproval from my family regarding the idea of eating there again but it turned out my parents had the same idea on their minds. My youngest sister, who initially opposed to the plan, was not feeling well at that time. Since she was not interested to eat anything heavy for lunch, she had no choice but to come and eat with us.

Daddy’s Turn In Seafood Island

It was Sunday once again so we went to the mall after attending mass in our parish. Whenever my father is not in the country, I do not let my sister drive outside Bulacan. But since he was here for a short break, it was a good opportunity for my youngest sister to practice her driving skills in NLEX. For the first time, I think, I enjoyed being a passenger and tried to rest while we’re on our way to Marquee Mall. It was just the four of us including Mom because my younger sister was in Palawan with her friends.

Fish For Lunch At Aristocrat

It was Sunday and we went to SM Pampanga after attending mass. Even though my Mom wasn’t feeling well, she granted my younger sister’s request to go to the mall. The latter would shop for what some clothes and things she’d use at Boracay this weekend. So my younger sister was still busy shopping when my Mom and I opted to try The Aristocrat Restaurant. We’re supposed to eat there a few months ago but we walked out of the restaurant because we’re seated for more than 10 minutes already and no one was approaching us. From the outside, I saw several servers assisting the customers so I’d though their service improved. That’s what convinced me to give them a second chance aside from the fact I would like to try their foods.

Giving Bacolod Chicken Inasal A Second Chance

If you’re following my blog, you’ve probably read my post about my sister’s birthday celebration at Bacolod Chicken Inasal at SM Baliuag. Unfortunately, it was a disaster. There were a lot of leftover foods that we decided to take home. Foods were bland and we didn’t enjoy the meal. But last Sunday, we couldn’t come up with a consensus on where we are going to eat lunch. Until we ended up entering Bacolod Chicken Inasal hoping that the restaurant could redeem itself that time.
