Chubby China’s Chinese Food At NAIA 3

Early this year, my family and I got to experience our using NAIA 3 on our flight to Cagayan de Oro (CDO). It happened to be my first domestic flight and I had a good experience. For the second time, we had to be at NAIA 3 to fetch my brother coming from Japan. I didn’t thought the airport could be used for international flights so I was surprised and happy at the same time. It’s nice to know that more people could be able to enjoy the services of NAIA 3.

Welcome Dinner At Fish & Co

It’s this day of the year once again. We fetched my brother in the airport and went to SM MOA for dinner, as usual. This has been a habit for my family every time he or my father is coming home to the Philippines. We always look forward to times like this because my brother always pays for our lunch/dinner expenses. From T.G.I. Fridays last time, we took risk in eating at Fish & Co this time. We knew it would cost us a lot but no one cared at all at that time. It was our chance to eat in an expensive restaurant so why not, right?

Trying La Mesa Grill

We fetched my Dad at the airport and as usual, we went to SM Mall of Asia to eat and do window-shopping. Since my father loves eating Filipino foods especially those, which are grilled, we ended up having lunch at La Mesa Grill. If I still remember right, the restaurant is located at the South Parking building near the Seaside Boulevard, where most of the restaurants can be found. From the name itself, I believe La Mesa Grill is a local restaurant serving grilled foods and other local dishes.

First Time At Shakey’s

Shakey’s Pizza is a popular pizza restaurant since I was younger. It is actually one of the tough competitors of Pizza Hut among the middle class people when it comes to pizza, in my opinion. I could remember an instance when my father brought us a box of pizza from Shakey’s when I was an elementary school student. We tried to eat the pizza but we didn’t like it and just left it unfinished. We weren’t tried Shakey’s since then and instead became attracted to Pizza Hut.

Happy Tummies At T.G.I. Friday’s

Last year, we were able to fetch my brother again from the airport. I was hoping that the family could be complete that time but like in 2008, my younger sister wasn’t able to come with us because of some school stuff. Since my brother has been talking about T.G.I. Friday’s since his college days, I had convinced him to treat us lunch there the next time he’ll go home again. I was actually looking forward to that lunch treat especially that I could order for something expensive. That’s how lucky we were.

Lunch Treat At Burgoo

It was my brother’s first vacation in the Philippines after he left in September 2008 to pursue graduate studies in Japan. He didn’t make it on Christmas but he was able to spend a one-month vacation in the country in early 2009. We fetched him at the airport together with the whole family except for my younger sister. My younger sister chose to stay at home to review for an incoming exam. It happened that my Dad was here in the country also for his vacation so it’s really perfect. We celebrated this rare opportunity by going to the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) as we were expecting that in the next few years, my brother and Dad might have no chance to see each other very often.

Family Went to Becky’s Kitchen

Last February, my family and I took my brother to the airport for his flight to Japan. Since I ordered some pastries to Becky’s Kitchen a few days ago before the flight schedule, we went to the pastry shop before heading home. This was the second time I’d bought some goodies there after craving for walnut fudge for years. If I remember right, my first visit there was when I had to go to the National Library in Kalaw.
