It was Mother’s Day and we gave Mom a bouquet of flowers that morning as soon as she woke up. After attending mass, we had no definite plan on where to eat lunch. We just had a consensus not to have it in Marquee Mall for a change. Whenever we are going south, we only have two choices – SM North Edsa and Trinoma. We were expecting that the latter’s parking lots would be all occupied the time we reached Quezon City so we went to SM North Edsa Annex instead. We always find free parking space whenever we are going there. We only came to a decision where to have lunch when we were already at the mall. Everyone agreed to try Peri Peri Charcoal Chicken. I guess the name is based on its most popular dish, Peri Peri Chicken, which is a Portuguese style grilled chicken. Check the restaurant menu here. They have a variety of food and some of them are quite affordable.
Alone Time At Tempure Japanese Grill
I remember walking back and forth along the restaurants area of Trinoma when I went one there one early afternoon in May. I was very hungry and it was past lunchtime already. I couldn’t decide where to eat until I saw Tempura Japanese Grill at the 2nd level of the mall. I felt relieved seeing there were no other customers in the restaurant. And I was right – the service was fast.
Trying Out Kani Salad At Teriyaki Boy
Since I started dieting, I tried to eat a lot of low-carb vegetables as much as possible. But whenever I eat out in Japanese restaurants, I barely eat salad because they’re not the typical green salads I used to eat. They have this Kani Salad, which I’m reluctant to try at first. It is a salad usually consists of kani (crab) sticks, lettuce, cucumber, carrots and mayonnaise. After reading in an online post that it is good, I decided to give it a go.
The Mann Hann’s Shrimp Roll
Whenever I’ve planned to lunch out and I’m not familiar with the restaurant, I always try to look up online some of it’s bestsellers. In the case of Mann Hann, I think it was only on my 2nd or 3rd visit where I was able to order one of their famous viands. I’m referring to their Shrimp Roll. I’m not a big fan of shrimps but I don’t hate them either so why not try it, right?
Sunday Lunch With Mom At Nina’s Fried Itik Restaurant
We’ve been passing by Nina’s Fried Itik Restaurant along DRT highway whenever we are going to SM Baliuag. We never tried eating there because my sisters don’t want to. But when my Mom and I had the opportunity, we went there on a weekend without my sisters. The restaurant opens at 10am but since there were no customers yet at that time, we just decided to go back around lunchtime.
Huge Yummy Pizza At S&R
We’ve waited so long for the S&R Members’ Treat scheduled last March but due to a household emergency, we missed it. It took us weeks before we were able to come back to the store. Unfortunately, we had to wait for another 6 months to enjoy and experience the next members’ treat. Aside from the treat, my family had an agreement to try their pizza the next time we go there.
Birthday Lunch At Josephine Restaurant
It was my birthday and we spent the long weekend at Tagaytay. As planned, we should be able to eat at Josephine Restaurant before heading home. We anticipated a lot of people eating at the restaurant but we didn’t know the place is huge. At first glance, the main eating area looks like a hotel lobby for me. Hehe. The servers and waiters are dressed like the ones in the hotel. I was impressed. The restaurant was jam-packed when we arrived so we had to wait until a table becomes ready to accommodate us. The 5-1o minute wait was worth it. Luckily, we were seated close to the glass walls where we could clearly see the breathtaking view of Taal Lake.
Going Light And Healthy At Sizzling Pepper Steak
I could no longer remember why I was in Quezon City at that time but I’m pretty sure I went to the university before going to the Trinoma Mall for a very late lunch. I’ve been planning to visit Sizzling Pepper Steak but it was until last March only that I got to do so. I could easily get distracted by other restaurants that I know serve good food. Finally, I had the chance to try Sizzling.
Impromptu Dinner Treat At Le Ching
It was a very tiring day that ended with an impromptu dinner with a college friend. We were supposed to drop by at Starbucks only to meet up a colleague but since it was dinnertime already and we were at Technohub, my friend agreed to join me for dinner at Le Ching Tea House.
Soup Of The Day: Chicken Or Beef?
Mom and I had this weekly grocery shopping one afternoon and grabbed some snack at Max’s SM Baliuag. My mother would always try to convince me to eat at the food court but most of the time, she’s the one losing to me. I always get to eat where I want, mostly at Max’s Restaurant.
